• Displaying a range of available devices, both
existing and those developed by Twende
• Providing business training
• Giving advice on suitable micro-finance
organisations
Follow-up new micro-businesses for commercial feedback:
• How successful are they?
• What problems have they encountered?
• Assess the performance of the devices they
are using/selling
• Report any device problems back to the
device manufacturer
• Work with manufacturers to improve the
design
Encourage Tanzanian engineers
• To develop their own innovative skills
• To look at problems in their country with
open minds
• Shrug off pre-conceptions about “how things
are done in developed countries”
Quality Control
• Continually monitor Twende’s performance,
refining and improving where necessary.
