Workshops are only the first step.

After a workshop ends, participants are given the opportunity to continue their projects. We provide funding, space, and technical advising to finish the first prototype to test.

Our makerspace/karakana is open to the general public to use for a small fee of 10,000 tzs / day to cover utilities, tool usage, and some technical advising.

We also work with a select group of Twende Innovators who would like to take their innovations to the next level by bringing them to market. We offer our makerspace/karakana, networks, knowledge, interns, and skills to these Twende Innovators, and they can tell you a little bit more below:
Interested in innovating with us? Check out our events on Facebook, come visit us at Twende, or contact us to join one of our upcoming workshops!
